Amanda and her Mom gave me a call about 2 months before Amanda and Tim’s Wedding. They were not sure if they needed help and not sure what they needed help on. They had received my name from Louise’s Mother (Hi Jean!!!) and I was so happy to be referred and to be able to assist Amanda and her mom Linda with the rest of the planning process and the day of the wedding. The photos that were captured by the wonderfully talendted Erica Loeks perfectly describe the emotions of the day! A video by Kelly Gunning at Gunning Media and can be viewed in this past post.
Amanda and Tim, Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your day! I hope that you are enjoying newlywed life in California!!

Aleesha and Kevin- September 19th
Aleesha and Kevin were referred to me by Gloria and Jake, a wonderful Couple I was lucky enough to help coordinate their August 2008 Wedding. Like all referrals, Aleesha and Kevin were wonderful to work with. we planned their wonderful September wedding in just 5 months. Aleesha knew the look that she wanted and really wanted to incorporate a lot of her and Kevin’s interests, favorite locations in Minneapolis and memories into the wedding. The lasting memory that will always stand out about their wedding to me was that this was much more than a wedding, this was about their marriage and their family! Congratulations Mr and Mrs. Webb!

Kelly and Josh - August 8th
August 8th was a day of very “unique” weather. One minute it was raining and the next it was beautiful. The weather could not dampen the hapiness in the air or Kelly and Josh. From the moment I met Kelly and her wonderful Mother I knew that she was a “Classic Bride” and that she would have the type of wedding that you would be able to look at for years to come and it would always remain timeless and elegant! Kelly used a very monochromatic theme throughout all of the decor and it really fit the Calhoun Beach Club nicely. These amazing images are from Maribeth at Red Ribbon Studio. Each year I put together a list of vendors that I have not worked with, but would love to... And finally I get to cross Maribeth off my list! Below is a list of all of the wonderful vendors that made my job as a coordinator so much more enjoyable!
Thank you to Kelly and Josh for letting me be a part of your wonderful day!!

Friday Fun...
Just a little teaser to leave you for the weekend! Can not wait to blog about Sara-Jo and Paul! They were an AMAZING couple That I was able to work with this Summer! I just got the disk of their images from LaVie Photography and am excited to do some browsing through them!!
Amanda and Sean - Inspiration Board Style...
Amanda contacted me about a year before her wedding. She was interested in day of coordination.... and she was smart to contract me that early out, because September 11th turned out to be a VERY busy day for Lasting Impressions! Amanda and Sean amazed me from the beginning on how much they had figured out and how organized they were.....
When Amanda and I got together to go over her timeline and to do her venue walk through, I was so excited to see everything she had planned. For starters she had a great color scheme.. Pewter and Yellow, great vendors and a lot of “fun elements” she had planned for her big day! We were at Mill City Museum, which is one of our favorite venues and a venue that we work at a lot! Damico Catering always does a great job and the food is always amazing! Amanda planned beautiful decor including pewter linens and chivari chairs from Apres Party and flowers from Sadies Floral. The first dance was done in the courtyard area which was the first time I had seen that happen. It worked out wonderfully thanks to Instant Request. One of my favorite parts of creating the timeline was realizing that Vada photography was their photographer and Rev. Tomkin Coleman was their officiant. Every year I have a list of vendors I want to work with and its hard to believe that after 5 years and around 200 weddings there are still vendors that I have not met or worked with! Neither of them disappointed and I can thank the wonderful Biff at Vada Photography for these wonderful photos and this really cool inspiration board set up. Biff is a member of Two Bright Lights, a really neat photo sharing site that allows vendors to view photos and create inspiration boards. I had a lot of fun playing around with the boards and reliving the wedding day!
Amanda sent me this wonderful email the day after their wedding and I just had to share... (P.S. This is why I LOVE my job!!)
Sarah,
Sean and I leave for Hawaii tomorrow and I feel overwhelmingly satisfied with the way our wedding played out. I believe you played an integral role in making that happen. I felt like as much like a guest at my own wedding as possible and that is because of you. I barely saw you, yet everything was executed flawlessly and your attention to detail in the planning process clearly showed on the day.
Thank you again for your cheerful yet calm and confident personality and your professional execution. You rock girl!

Kristin and Brady - September 25th
Looking at these photos just make me think of the wonderful fall that we have here in Minnesota! And what a great fall it has been! I would love to keep this warmth around for a few more months!
I had the joy of working with Kristin, Brady and Mary (Mother of the Bride, Planner, Seamstress, DIY Champ, you name it.. this mom can do it!!!!) on their September 25th wedding. I was hired over a year before the big day and was able to help plan all of the elements. Kristin was a bride that knew what she wanted and when I look at these photos I think it is just how she envisioned it!
They had a great wedding day, the rain held off and the ceremony in Irvine Park was wonderful! Kristin and Brady have been taking ballroom dancing lessons for quite some time now, so the reception was kicked off with their first dance and slideshow before the meal... a great way to start the night! Thank you Kristin, Brady and Mary for letting me be a part of your big day!
