Lasting Impressions Weddings: Lighting

The lighting of an event can change the mood dramatically. One of the “staples” of my events has been the use of lighting. I believe that uplighting is KEY. When the budgets are bigger I love pin spotting, uplighting, GOBO’s and the lists go on and on and on.... I think lighting is a big area that gets overlooked when couples try and do a lot of elements themselves. I think a lot of people just think lighting “must be expensive” I know I thought that before I did research into it. Colored uplighting can transform a space from blah to wow and is a great way to splash some color on the walls or poles. So whether you want dramatic coloring or just soft ambiance, lighting is key to event design!
