Jamie and Garrett - June 26, 2011

I had so much fun designing and planning Jamie and Garrett’s wedding! Jamie and Garrett called me about 9 months before their wedding to “jump in” and help in the planning process! They already had a great venue (one of my favorites!!) at Calhoun Beach Club and I really had fun finding a theme for them and really personalizing the look and feel of their wedding day! As you can tell by the photos… we incorporated purples, natural elements and LOVE BIRDS to the whole design!

In my quest to find the right person with the right budget I found Sarah. I interviewed several planners and found Sarah to be the perfect fit. We worked with Sarah throughout our planning process and at that point had only found the venue and caterer, which happened to come together. Even though we technically purchased the partial service plan, Sarah was there to help with anything we needed from the moment we started working together. Her recommendations for other vendors was spot on and we ended up picking her highest recommended every time, even though I exhausted my research with other vendors.

By the time the big day came I felt that she was part of the family. She not only became someone we did business with, but had become a friend I feel as well. My concerns were her concerns even if I didn't tell her what they were. She is a true professional with her work as her passion and will not let you down.

Emily and Nate - August 21st

Emily and Nate was a couple that I knew I would automatically fall in love with. From our first meeting, a little over a year ago I realized that Emily had the warmest heart and was going to be amazing to work with. We started the adventure of planning and they (along with the mother of the Bride Chris) became a couple I knew I would miss after the wedding was done.
That year flew by and here I am posting their photos (already missing them!) What a great time we had, the weather was warm, the church did not have air, but that could not damper any of their spirits... The day was as bright as the decor!
Emily wanted a very “clean” look to her reception and decor. All of our designs were inspired by the bridesmaids dresses and the invites!

Katie and Colin

I had the pleasure of working with Katie and Colin last Saturday for their Windy May 1st Wedding! Katie called me about a month ago telling me “I think I need your help!!”. She had contacted me months earlier after she was referred to me from Molly at Molly’s Flower Studio. Katie, like many other brides, said that she had a tight budget and did not think she could make a “Day of Planner” fit into her budget. Of course I always understand that and wished Katie well on the rest of her planning! I am very glad she had a change of heart because we had so much fun!! Katie not only had wonderful vendors, but her attention to detail is a dream come true for a planner! The ladies at the MN History Center were amazing!! I was so excited to work at their amazing venue and their service did not disappoint! They have such a wonderful “team” approach there.. Thanks Michelle and Christie!!!

Jamie and Tony - March 13th

I was so excited when I got the phone call that Jamie and Tony were getting married, not only because they are a wonderful couple but because I love their family! I was actually planning Jamie’s Sisters wedding when Anne, Jamie’s Mother, called me about helping with two weddings! Anne did a great job of pulling together 2 daughters weddings in 1 year! I was so happy to help and I was very excited for yesterday. I love winter weddings and it is fun to break up the winter with a great big celebration. Jamie and Tony picked McNamara Alumni Center. What a great venue! I had never worked there before and now I can not wait to get back there! Jessica was wonderful to work with and Damico had amazing food like Always! Ruth from Happily Ever After took wonderful photos and I am so excited to see them! In the mean time, take a look at some of my wonderful assistant Andrea’s snapshots of the big day!!

Jamie and Tony, I was honored to work with you.. have a great time in Cancun! Anne and Tony, I could have not asked for a more wonderful experience..Thank you for letting me be a part of both of your daughters lives!

Kelley and Matt- October 10

Kelly and Matt, What a great couple! It was such a fun time working with them through the whole planning process. Matt was not only adores Kelly, but he trusts her too... we were joking alot that Matt had not seen the venue until a few days before the wedding. But Kelly had great taste and that showed!!! I love the Calhoun Beach Club and I think the first time Kelly saw it she did too.... the ease of having the ceremony and reception at the same place is so nice. The “getting ready” room is wonderful and the food can not be beat!! We incorporated a lot of “personal touches” such as her mother’s veil being incorporated into the bouquet, Kelly read some of her grandparents love letters during the ceremony (Tear-jerking!!) and one of my favorite moments of the night was when the last song played and all of the guests (yes, practically all of them were still there) gathered in a circle and sang along to Piano Man... this is a tradition of all St. John’s/St. Ben’s Students!
