Working With Tiffany and Mark was so much fun! They both had so much energy and were so creative. Tiffany constantly impressed me with her
athletic abilities.. She was a Triathlete and during the time we were planning the wedding she still managed to train for a few races!!
It was a rainy day at Richardson Nature Center... but they did not let that dampen their spirits!

I loved the glow of the candles at Stonebrooke and the Muddy Paws Cheesecake was of course a HIT! Tiffany even surprised mark with an appearance by Goldy The Gopher Himself.... Go Gophers!!

Candles

Candles are one of the most inexpensive ways to decorate and give the room such a glow.... I always suggest incorporating candles on the table or doing a 1/3 of the tables in just a candle arrangement. And of course votives.. you can never have too many votives in my opinion. Candles dont have to look minimal - Grouped into larger arrangements they look very lush, put a ribbon or some decor around them to change there look all together. Here are some of the ways we have found to use candles over the years....

Just Wanted To Share

I am updating our website... which Is JUST ABOUT Done! Thank god for a few snow days to really put the final touches on it (I had no idea how long you have to sit still to really get it done!!!) But I feel like we are approaching the end and I hope that it looks as good to all of you as I am happy with it. More than anything I wanted a new Site Where I could showcase all of our videos that have been done. I have the pleasure to work with Wonderful Videographers and it has been fun to have them post and share the videos. For so much of the day I am running around and dont ever really get to Stop and look at and the wonderful decor or I forget a lot of the special parts of the day. So here are a few that I hope to get embedded into our website soon!!

We Won!!!! Twin Cities Bridal Association Icon Awards!!!

What a fun day!!! My wonderful assistants and I attended the Twin Cities Bridal Association’s Icon Awards!!
It was so much fun and we won!!! We won for the “Excellence in Design and Decor” and it was such an honor to be rewarded for something that I love it do! We were presented the award with the other 2 vendors that I worked with on this wedding. Apres Party and Tent Rental and Violets Flowers. They all worked so hard to tie this wedding all together and I was so happy to work with them!

Twin City Bridal Association - Icon Award Nominee!!

I am so excited. I got an email today letting me know that I was nominated for an ICON Award from the Twin Cities Bridal Association. I could not be happier!! I had the pleasure of working with Apres on our great event and it turned out great. It is such a pleasure to be rewarded and recognized for a job you love!! I am excited to head to the Gala on November 15th!

Big Changes....

As you have noticed I have been not blogging much...I am excited to show you all of our summer work! We have had the most amazing year so far!! The Big Change is that we are in the middle of moving. I am excited to have a wonderful new office to share with my clients! I will have all of our new addresses and information posted soon! Move Date is a week away!!

Kristen and Alex

It was a rainy day this past Friday.. but that did not stop Kristen and Alex from having a wonderful wedding! The Holiday Inn-Lakeville looked amazing all lit up with orange uplighting, black branches, orange flowers and tons and tons of candles. This wedding was a lot of fun to plan from the start to the end. I loved the decor (this actually inspired me to turn a room of my house into a damask design!) I had a lot of fun creating the menu cards, table numbers, table runners and every decor piece to really pull it all together! Thanks to Kristen, Alex and Diane (Kristen's wonderful mom) for letting me help with your big day!!!

We had a great day, the weather was perfect and the always amazing Nicollet Island Pavillion was a great backdrop for the reception. Jon's mother and sister did all of the flowers and did a fantastic job!!! I hope you are having fun in Italy Jon and Michelle... I am excited to hear about all of your stories!
