Alyssa and Tommy

Alyssa just emailed me some professional pictures from her and Tommy's July 19th wedding and it was worth the wait to see them. The rain reminds me of the day. We were in and out of rain all day and at the last minute we decided to do it outside, at at that very moment the sprinkles started again but did not dapen our spririts! It was just one more special touch to a great wedding! I miss you both so much already!!

The Other Side...

This past Saturday my best friend got married and wow is it different to be on the other side of the wedding, I kept finding myself asking to help, tear down and run the show. I was able to sit back and enjoy the day with all of my friends and family... but it is a little harder than i could have ever imagined. My other best friend and I were the matrons of honor (is that old sounding or what!) so I now know what it is like to feel the nerves of speaking in front of the group! Danielle has always been very orginal and I loved her dress! Very short, sassy and DANIELLE!

It was a fun night catching up and watching one of my closest friends marry the man she loves!

P.S. And yes the three of us all do have blonde hair and look scarily alike :)

Grateful

The one question I have been getting a lot is.... are you slowing down for the year, thankfully NO! This is only the beginning. September is a huge month for us and the fall is filling quickly.. we are so lucky.

This is the time of year that I am so grateful for the wonderful couples I have worked with, but at the same time I get so sad.. I feel like I loose great friends! So stay in touch :)

On August 16th I had the pleasure of helping Gloria and Jake with their Rush Creek Wedding. We started to work together over a year ago and it was so fun to play around with ideas and have them all come to life. We did everything from linens, doves, signature drinks, ice sculptures, fireworks.. to say the least. So it was very fun to work on and it was great to work with Gloria and Jake... Here are some of my pictures that I took..

August Day At The Lake

On 08/08/08 we had a great wedding at a lake home in Prior Lake. We do a lot of backyard weddings every year. And although they are difficult (Port a Potties, Transportation, Bugs... etc) They are some of my favorite weddings!

Jessica and Nate

Nate and Jessica's wedding was very unique and fun! The staff at the Depot did a great job and the florist was truely the superstar.... transforming over 4,000 carnations into amazing centerpieces. As you can see, the colors are bright and bold... Just like the wonderful couple! I was so lucky to work with them....

This is always a sad time of year, I miss all my married couples already! Congratulations Jessica and Nate!

Robin and Craig - June 21st

I have a GREAT problem.. we have been so busy with weddings I can not post very often.. and I am about 4 weddings behind.. so I will continue to post a lot in July to make sure that I can show you all my wonderful June weddings. They were so amazing... all of them. And I think one o the best parts of all of these weddings is that they are so different!

June 6th- Christie and James

I realize I am a few weeks behind on the picture postings.. I am happy the reason for that is because I am very busy with a month full of weddings! I will post my June 7th weddings soon!!!

Christie and James were great! The wedding was at Stonebrooke Golf Course and unfortunatly the rain did not hold off, so we did have to do the ceremony inside, but Christie and James were laid back and adjusted to the elements! For more of the professional pictures visit: Happily Ever After!

Jen and Peter- May 31st

This past weekend we did a really fun wedding at Minnetonka Orchards! Jen and Pete were so wonderful to work with. They came to me right after Christmas and we planned the whole thing in a few months! We had no intention of the wedding being in May, but once they found the orchard they knew they wanted it there and they would comprimise on a quick planning process. Jen and Peter were so organized that it really felt like we had been planning it forever. The rain held off until around 8pm, so we were blessed to have a day outside in the sun. Congratulations Jen and Peter!
