Doug and Raedean not only have a very deep love for each other but they have a wonderful sense of humor!! The first time I met them they had me rolling with Laughter! That kind of laughter will take them through many years of marital bliss!! I was lucky enough to help them on their November wedding. I will never forget their wedding.. not only because they were very special people and it was a beautiful day.. but because it was the day of the crazy ice storm that kept many of their guests and vendors “iced” into the Golden Valley Country Club! The pictures below show was a wonderful day it was and how Doug and Raedean’s little touches were brought into the wedding. My favorite detail and photo of the wedding is the last photo.. Instead of doing a dollar dance they decided to do a “dance off” and this picture only begins to show how fun that was!

Malisa and Martin
When I got an email from Malisa one day all I could think about was... Its a small world! She was given my name by her bridesmaid who is the current owner of my old house (are you following me still :) And I am sure glad that I was referred to them! Not only were they wonderful people, but the wedding took place atTarget Field and it was a rare oppurtunity to see all of the “behind the scenes action” at the home of the Minnesota Twins. The wedding took place on a sunny November Saturday and there was not a dry eye in the house when Malisa and Martin exchanged their vows. They really put a lot of themselves into their wedding and worked long hours preparing all of the details and the DIY Coasters and centerpieces. They did a fantastic job and the images by Era Photography below really capture the mood of the day! Malisa and Marty I hope you are having a wonderful time as newlyweds and I will forever think of you when I am at Target Field!
Maggie and Matt... Part 2
There were so many wonderful details in Maggie and Matt’s Wedding Day that I had to create a Part 2 Blog Post, if you missed Part One please take a look for photos of the stunning couple and ceremony details! Maggie and Matt transformed the beautiful Nicollet Island Pavillion with their classic and elegant wedding theme. Navy Table clothes added a pop of color on a very “clean” color pallette. The combination of white roses and “bling” was the perfect amount of sparkle for the space! Maggie bought blankets to be scattered on the patio when guests got cold on the October evening and the cocktail napkins added a bit of fun and flare to the event!
One of my favorite surprises at the wedding was the late night snack - Matt and Maggie had told me that they loved Dairy Queen Blizzards. So we were able to have late night blizzards delivered at 10pm for a nice sweet surprise!

Maggie and Matt - Part One..
Let me first start by saying, there was NO way I could get all of my favorite images into one post. So I will be following up with all of the wonderful decor photos in the next few days. I ADORE Maggie and Matt! They were wonderful to work with and they were made for each other! I was lucky enough to be referred to Maggie and Matt from one of my favorite couples of 2010.. Megan and Ben, so when I got the email from Maggie I was very excited! Maggie knew exactly what she wanted and had a great vision from the beginning. She brought her touches of great taste into every aspect of the wedding... including her wonderful wedding dress!! It was enjoyable helping her and Matt through through the planning process and I was excited to hear that a few of their photos are being featured in the new Minnesota Bride!!
