The perfect purse for your wedding....

Don’t feel bad if you think you are spending too much on your wedding.. it could be worse. Dubai just announced the most expensive purse in the world! Studded with 4,517 diamonds, Dubai will welcome the world’s most expensive purse priced at $3.8 million on Thursday in its five-star hotel, the Dubai Mall.

The 1001 Nights Diamond Purse which takes the shape of a heart is encrusted with 105 yellow, 56 pink and 4.356 colorless diamonds – all weighing a whopping 381.92 carats. Not really my style.. but a fun fact!

Queen of the DIY Wedding!!!

I have the great pleasure and joy to be able to help couples on the “Best Day of Their Life” every single weekend. And not only do I get to help a lot of couples design and plan their wedding, I get to see all of the hard work my “Day of Coordination” couples put into their wedding day. To say that I am amazed is an understatement with most of the hard work that couples put into their day. Danielle and Joe were no different.. WOW!! The images below are just a few of Danielle and Joe’s DIY Items that they created for their wedding day. With a year and a half engagement they had plenty of time to think of and create this wonderful items. My favorites are the hangers that they made for all of the bridesmaids with their names on them, the popcorn cones and the homemade crayons and coloring books (who knew you could make crayons????)
Great job Danielle and Joe- Your October wedding inspired me to tap into my DIY!!

Sara and Keith

Sara and Keith were married on November 13th, what was supposed to be a nice fall day! When I woke up on Saturday morning it was quite different.. the first big snow of the year turned it into a winter wonderland outside. Luckily most of Sara and Keith’s guests had flown into town earlier that week, so instead of worrying about traveling guests everyone was able to enjoy the beautiful snow! These beautiful photos by Spencer Combs and the video by Capture Studios really captures the love between Sara and Keith. Both are in the military and have lived apart most of the year when planning the wedding. They live on the east coast and planned most of the wedding from a distance. They did such a great job and no detail was left behind! The Semple Mansion was a perfect cozy atmosphere during the snowy Saturday!! Keith and Sara, you are such kind and loving people and I wish you a lifetime of hapiness!!

Courtney and Dan - July 17th

Courtney and Dan were married on July 17th on a beautiful sunny day! Luckily for us, the rain did not start until early in the evening and Laurie Schneider was able to capture some fabulous photographs! Courtney and her mom left no detail untouched. From the crystals on the menu cards to the corresponding colors of the napkins, chargers, chair covers it all looked amazing. One of my favorite aspects of this wedding were the flowers and over the top centerpieces. Courtney worked with the talented Carra from La Petite Fleur to create these whimsical designs. I personally LOVED the centerpiece with the branches going horizontal. I know that Carra was setting up her designs all day at the venue and it was well worth it!
