Sarah and John... May 23rd

One of the events I was looking the most forward to fell on one of the most beautiful weekends of the year.... Memorial Day. It was a perfect 78 degree day. No wind, not too hot, not too cold... just wedding perfect!
I loved Sarah the minute I met her about 6 months ago, She was halfway through her planning and I was able to jump in and help her with the rest of her planning. She had chosed St. Anthoney Main Event Center. It was a great location for her 200 guest wedding. We were able to do the ceremony downstairs, the dinner upstairs and the dance back downstairs again!
We had a great team including St. Anthony Main Event Center, Lunds Bakery, Instant Request DJ, Tim and Lynn Carlson Photography, .
Not only was the wedding amazing, but when I came downstairs to get the father daughter dance going, I had no idea what I was about to see.... Sarah and her dad were doing the best country dance to Willie Nelson... It was the best.. A Perfect Father/Daughter Dance for my southern bride and her dad! Thank you John and Sarah for letting me be apart of your big day and for letting me get to know you!

The First Dance....

kDWQ5.jpg

I was talking to one of my brides yesterday and we got talking about first dance songs. I know that when I got married this was an area that I really stressed about. I wanted to pick something perfect.... Not to new, not to overplayed, not to mushy.... I will never know if I picked the perfect one, but I do know that I picked a song that really expressed how I felt about my husband and what really expressed our life together. I really love music (and especially country music) so maybe this is why selecting the song was so hard! I am lucky enough to hear some great songs every week and I am always left thinking..... How does this song express their life together?

Meg and Jon - May 9th

May 9th I was at one of my favorite venues... The Semple Mansion. As you can tell from our gallery and our blog, we are lucky to get to work their a lot! Katherine does a wonderful job and keeps everything organized!

We were hired from Meg and Jon about a month before their wedding and jumped on board to help with day of coordination and the last minute details on all of their 4 wedding weekend events. It was a great time!! Meg was honestly one of the most organized and on top of it brides, and I loved that!

They worked with lots of great vendors... like always the Damico Team did great, Snapz Photobooth, St. Olaf Church, Pazzobello Flowers, Meghan Doll Photography and a wonderful Candy Bar by Love Sweet Love

Congratulations!!

What an Email

I was checking my email this morning and this was in my inbox from my May 2nd Couple, Jamie and Idara... I helped plan the decor portion with Jamie and Meghan and Andrea were there on the big day to do all of the setting up and day of coordination. This is why I love my team and my job :)

Hi Sarah

Thank you so much for sending us these pictures. We just got back from Italy and were excited to see pictures of our day. Andrea did a great job at taking these photos; we should have hired her as our photographer!!!

From what we could see, the day went smoothly; we enjoyed ourselves and had no worries that our wedding was in good hands. We were a little aprehensive about adding $1300 to our budget, but I must say that it was truly worth every dollar - and some more. I loved working with you and truly appreciated the above and beyond work you did for me.

Please thank Meghan for us. She was fabulous and allowed me to sit back and enjoy my special day versus worrying about details. The room was so beautiful I thought I was going to cry when I walked in. I honestly couldn't believe my eyes. Meghan and Andrea did such a wonderful job at setting everything up. They executed everything you and I planned and added some extra touches (i.e. rose petals were sprinkled on the head table - along with some of the extra crystals we brought for the head table vases; there were rose petals in the bathroom; there were rose petals on some of the dinner tables; there were candles everywhere; all of the tables were beautiful). I could go on and on about how great they did.

The Richfield centerpieces turned out really nice. The MBellish candle centerpieces were breath taking. Everyone commented on how beautiful the centerpieces were and they loved that there were 3 different styles - thank you so much for recommending this idea (it was good for the budget and the look of the room).

You are a rock star Sarah. I will definitely be recommending you to other people. Is there somewhere I can post a testimonial about your services?

Thank you...Thank you...Thank you.

Jamie and Idara Uko

Jamie and Idara - May 2nd

Jamie and Idara's wedding was our second wedding of the spring. I was lucky enough to help Jamie with her decor and with our partial planning package!!Meghan and Andrea, my amazing assistants were there to pull the whole day together

Their wedding took place at Earle Brown Heritage Center and it was a fun combination of red and white! Richfield Flowers did all of the flowers, all of the decor was done by Lasting Impressions, MBELLISH and the ceiling draping was done by the wonderful gals over at Avant Decor!

Not only is Andrea a great assistant at all of our weddings, she is a great photographer as well. I always try and take a few photos of my own before everyone gets in the room... so I have now put Andrea on those duties :)
Jamie and Idara are off having a great honeymoon in Italy!!

First Wedding of The Summer!!

Its was our first wedding of the summer (or spring, but I am trying for some wishful thinking). It was great! The wonderful staff at Damico Catering and the Mill City Museum helped orchestrate every part! Kristin and Noah were a very awesome laid back couple. Only starting their planning last fall.... The weather held out for our amazing outdoor ceremony and everyone came inside for cocktails and to dance the night away!!! The pictures speak for themselves.... Ruth from Happily Ever AFter always does an amazing job! And Check out the shoes :) Every wedding should have a pair of killer heels!!! Congratulations Kristin and Noah.... Hope you have a great honeymoon in Mexico!!!!
